When you're strange.. Well this is certainly, shall I say unusual. A very old taxidermied Armadillo transformed into a carry basket. Originally popularized by basketmaker Charles Apelt at the Apelt Armadillo Company for the World's Fair in 1902, rolly polly mammals, Dillo Cingulata have become a symbol of Texas and southern U.S. Well preserved and frankly, pretty cool. Betcha don't have one! |
