Viking Lamp World's Ugliest Lamp
Norsemen pilliage and plunder yet will never find a more "interesting" light.
This orange pottery piece certainly needs a good home, Minnesota Vikings fans would be in Valhalla for this lighting treat.
Some small rim chips mostly covered by lid mentioned for completeness.
No markings or Runes to figure the mythology of this ugly piece, but I believe it was made in the early Sixties, possibly by Thor.

Capricorn wanted for this Ram lamp. This lamp came from an elderly German craftsman n the east end of Long Island NY, who produced this prior to WW2. Amazing detail bold not sheepish looks, it is heavy and well made. Detailed castings, even the hooves are cleft, small bell about neck swings freely. Stable set with honey like rams horn, or goat.
