Antique Pigeon Racing Clock Rare Wood Cased Linell Instrument
Rare clock Homing racing pigeon antique wooden case clock and timer.Glass etched Emperator cie. This old clock is in exceptional condition and very heavy.Purchased in England, there are many clues to be unraveled, with this sporting timepiece. A name scrawled in faint hand appears to read Hawkins, though could be just about anything in key flap. S and A Pigeon Supplies 138 Cape Hill Smethwick Worcestershire afixed to clock face. Imperator Toulet and a few other unreadable words, etched on glass face, the number 96815 on the silver chrome outside bezel, D. Beattie inked on he inside of this attractive old oak box and a label from Linell Instrument Service 515 Bristol road Birminham 20 with the signed initials of repair. The case lock mechanisim reads Cheney England. Wonderful condition.
