Apothecary Antique Drugstore Bottle Set 1889 3 Antique drug store medicinal glass stoppered bottles dated April 2 1889 made by W.T. co, these three bottles all have recess' for pharmacy labels.

Formed in 1857 from an existant glassworks conglomeration over fifty years earlier. Whitall and Tatum produced medicine bottles under this name until 1901 in Schetterville New Jersey aka South Millville and operated under varius names until shut down in 1999.

Each clear glass apothacary bottle measures eight and a half inches tall with it's own ground stopper. Nice blown in mold antique bottle set. Price is for trio, all 3 together. Would look great with colored water or salad oil in any Dr. or Veterinary cabinet. I filled this one with ice tea for dramatic effect, Long Island Ice Tea!

J.H.Van Brunt Far Rockaway N.Y. Long Island New York antique glass bottle. Heavy and deeply embossed . This old soda water beer glass bottle is turning slightly amethyst purple and has a few pretty bubbles and neck stretches. Nine inches tall. It reads Registered This bottle not to be sold. Great old NY family name. Filled with Long Island Iced Tea for display.

Vintage Ball Ideal Mason & Gulden Mustard Glass Jars Deep green though coverless in fine condition, this #5 wire side is very pretty.
The Charles Gulden New York mustard is turning amethyst purple from elements in the glass. Controlled bubbles and heavy weight.
I threw a bit of Long Island Iced Tea in the mustard jar for display.

Vintage Bottle Shipwreck Scuba Found while diving in waters off Nederland protectorate island , Aruba, this coral encrusted old bottle sure is decorative. In Dutch it is embossed Ervin Lucas Bols Het Lootsje Asterdam. This pretty grren gem has a few shells and coral bits still inside.

Victorian Whiskey 1886 Antique Medicine Duffy's Malt Whiskey antique glass bottle deeply embossed Rochester N.Y.Huge old amber bottle dated August 24 1886 it measures ten and a half inches tall.

This bottle also apears in the The State Archaeological Collections Research Facility (SACRF) in West Sacramento California. Originally Duffys whisky was a Heart Tonic, latter well after this Victorian bottle and prior to prohibition, it became liquor. About as medicinal as embalming fluid, the company stayed in business until 1926.

I found this neat ancient liquor bottle deep down in the mud of Shelter Island New York. Cast away from the Victorian hotels that surounded the esturary creek, see pictures, I scuba dive. Rich amber wheat color with rainbow hues.

I found this great old quack medicine in very deep mud in an estuary creek off Shelter Island N.Y. while scuba diving. See pictures

Coca is an Andean plant from which cocaine is derived. Used by native South American peoples since the dawn of time and a majt ingrediant of Coco Mariani In 1565, Nicholas Monardes of Seville made note of the coca plant. In the 1850s, German scientists singled out cocaine as an active ingredient; and in the 1880s it was used as an anesthetic in eye surgery and then in dental and other surgeries. The Late Victorian period saw Mariani's Coco Wine, bottled by chemist Argelo Mariani. A medicinal, it was enjoyed by Pope Leo XIII, Queen Victoria, Thomas Edison, Sarah Bernhardt and William McKinley. This was way before the days of celebrity rehab.
